PPAP Submission Guidelines
- PPAPs are processed through the DTNA PPAP Management system
- DTNA supplier quality has 10 business days to review the PPAP from when it is submitted
- Submit the PPAP as soon as it is completed do not wait until the due date
- Only one file can be submitted to the PPAP system
- Submit the PPAP in one Excel workbook. Uploading a different type of file will cause the PPAP to be rejected
- Each element of the PPAP is placed on separate tab
- The PPAP needs to be submitted in English. If any documents are not in English, the PPAP will be rejected
- DTNA requests a level 4 PPAP
- We will request to see certain elements and require all 18 to be completed and help onsite
- Records are required to be retained for life of the product plus one year
- If a PPAP is rejected the full PPAP will need to be resubmitted.
What do you submitted when a PPAP is rejected?
The full PPAP. The system only allows one file to be uploaded; each new submission erases the previous.
